About Galt Airport

If you haven't been to Galt lately, you won't believe your eyes!  We have widened and repaved our main runway, which now measures 3000' long and 50' wide.

On the east side of the airport, we now have a cabin, stocked fishing pond, and firepit, all available to our hangar tenants.  Go fishing for the afternoon, or reserve the campground for the whole weekend....it's up to you.  You can even taxi your airplane to the campground for the full "grass roots" experience.

But, what we're most proud of is the fact that our airport isn't just a gathering place for aviators....it's a community.  Our newly formed group the "Friends of Galt" (FOG) sponsors an event almost every month.  This year we had a flour drop competition, a Luau, and even "Galtoberfest" to name just a few. 

Our events are fun for the whole family (pets included), and separate us from being simply a "place to park your airplane".  We are ALL proud of this airport, customers and employees alike.  We are also proud to be home to EAA chapter 932 and to be a part of all of the events that help expand our aviation community.
